BOB SMITH – Resort Manager Bob joined the SMV team in November of 2006. Although a New Jersey native, Bob and his family lived in the Atlanta area for almost 30 years. In 2002, he and his wife Frankie, as well as their two children, one son-in-law, and two grandsons moved to Boone. He is a deacon at the First Presbyterian Church of Boone, and is involved in all of the music ministries at the church. |

MARGARET WEAVER – Office Manager Margaret came to SMV in April of 2008. An eighth grade math teacher for 30 years, she now is responsible for the orderly operations of our office and accounting functions. Margaret’s bubbly personality is now well known around Swiss Mountain Village. She and her husband, Roby, live just north of here near the Blue Ridge Parkway. |

KAREN CRITCHER – Guest Services As one of our most visible employees, Karen runs our front desk operation and controls reservations. Her warm smile and mid-western good nature are a reason why she is such a welcomed new asset to our team. Karen is a fairly new resident to this area, coming from Minnesota. She and her husband Joel, live in Boone. |

BRENDA COFFEY – Housekeeping Supervisor Brenda started working at Swiss Mountain in 2003 as a Housekeeper. It wasn’t long before she was promoted to Supervisor. Brenda’s crew of Housekeepers keeps our units clean and comfortable. Her warm and friendly smile has endeared her to owners and guests alike. Brenda and her husband Howard live in Boone. Brenda’s hobbies include shopping, Facebook, and her granddaughters. |

JUANITA MILLER – Housekeeping Nita, as she is affectionately known, works as a part-time Housekeeper during the week and Saturdays. For a small woman, she is like a cleaning whirlwind. Nita lives in Boone. |

JOE COFFEY – Maintenance Joe started working in our Maintenance Department as part-time help, and finally went full-time at the beginning of 2011. Joe has three daughters, and lives in Boone with his wife Amanda. |

DENNIS MILLER – Maintenance Dennis has been in our Maintenance Department since 2005, and probably knows our buildings with all their quirks better than anyone else. He is a native of the Boone area, and loves to restore old cars. Ask him about his Pontiac Grand Prix. |

HOUSEKEEPERS Our Saturday Housekeeping staff is a dedicated group of folks, who usually work only on Saturdays to get all of our units ready for check-in. Most have been with us for several years. We would be unable to operate without these hard working people, who most owners and guests never get to meet. 2012 BOARD OF ADMINISTRATORS Although not employees, these dedicated individuals commit four weekends a year and countless additional hours between meetings to oversee the operations and finances of Swiss Mountain Village.
